A forest fairy

An illustration inspired by an old drawing I had made. The idea behind it was that if anyone died in the magic forest, their spirit would turn into a fairy protector of the forest. I used to add a grimmer twist by thinking that their fairy look would be reflecting the way they died in a way, but it was a bit too much, don’t you think?
