After an afternoon of checking out the city (and helping random citizenry) Cal returned to the castle to meet with her father, as well as the Lord (Morrison, who is a huge creep) and others.After a slightly awkward dinner her father saved her from what promised to be an even more awkward approach from Morrison. Once back upstairs she said she needed to speak with him.
"You know I'm not ashamed of you, right?" It's something she's been fretting about since they left home. She's been posing as his personal guard, and doing her best to hide her position and title from those who don't already know her. Not because she is ashamed or embarrassed, but because she wishes to avoid special treatment while she's trying to be of help. She wants to be on the front lines, protecting those who need it.
