The Squad 
The main cast from my ongoing story Field Study! The characters here, from left to right, are:1) Dahlia, the main protagonist. She’s a newly minted Werewitch (werewolf and witch) who is working on first figuring out magic and life in general.
2) Jake, aka the Grim, who struggles to ground himself in the big city after growing up a local cryptid in a small town.
3) Amber, a perfectly normal human who thinks she’s an herbal witch. Don’t worry, she figures it out.
4) Soren, an outgoing human who gets stuck being host to a dragon ghost named Envien, resulting in a forced lesson in compromising.
5) Helena, a traditionally trained witch who missed the point of her own traditions. She starts off as an antagonist, but figures it out as the story progresses.Feb 19, 2025
