| lover of cute things so i finally deactivated my teepublic shop and i'm currently looking for a better place to sell my drawings on. i have my sights on redbubble but i wanna know from you guys, the people who read this! what online shop would you recommend? is redbubble worth it? or are there better options?

I say this because the discord scene is rife with opportunities to self promote fanart. Problem is most people run into foul humans. Ignorant and opportunistic types.
Art servers are generally less predatory than others. But I caution anyone going in that direction to build a safety network of friends and pray to the sun you don’t run into any spooky people.
Honestly, freelancing art online can be so turbulent.
I don’t ever want to discourage anyone from pursuing their passions.
But most artists working commissions have experienced the crushing woes inherent to promoting themselves and their work online.

I've only seen artists who were popular already, have a great grasp of puns, or were lucky to have their illustrations approved for fanart make money legitimately on red bubble. And even then I don't know how much they're making.
If you want to go down the illegal route of selling fanart, you risk account deletion. Art theft also seems rampant on red bubble, so if you succeed with a design, expect people to steal said design in one or two days.
Idk maybe I'm being too pessimistic. But yeah, drawing fanart is probably your best bet.

my best advice would be to look at where your style sells best.
to sell something, you need something that people want. Find people who want what you have, and make it easy for them to get it
