So I got 100 follows in 3 days on Cara, while on here, last May, it would take about a month and a half to get 100 additional follows.
And on the Cara discord, they said they reached 100k users so business is popping off so this is some good momentum to make a viable and supported social platform alternative for artistsJun 1, 2024

I'm trying out Cara too. It's nice! But I wish the android app was less buggy 
It was hard just to set up an account due to "unexpected errors" everytime I tried.
It's still nice though. I'll probably just use the site until the app works better.

•Hahah, for me it is quite the contrary, here I got more followers, that I'll ever get in any other platform and I know Cara won't be different, been posting, but as expected, I almost got no likes, but it works pretty well as a quiet portfolio platform. I guess it's a matter of luck, because your art is beautiful and I really don't get why people here don't appreciate it. The same way, many artists I follow in IG who are also talented hardly ever get likes, no matter how talented or active they are. I think certain artworks work in specific platforms and this is so random that I can't say what the formula is, just luck I guess.
And yeah! I saw on IG that all the artists I follow are fleeing to Cara. This is cool as I think it will become a more active site and the devs will have their business thriving, it will become the option artists are looking for and I see the site is becoming quite active. Saw the message on Discord and I feel this might be a good sign
