Ian over the years.
A really quick and shitty timeline (both of my ability to draw and one of the older characters i still draw occasionally. Ian! Hes a pop star. As far as I know and remember this is kinda the story:At a young age, maybe 14-15, he and his twin sister got popular online for being a singing duo and they started entering competitions and went a bit viral. They had TV debuts and albums together. All throughout Ian’s childhood he was pushed into certain things- dying his hair, smiling constantly, always being kind no matter the shitty things that got thrown at him. That he wasnt allowed to be angry or upset because he had so many fans. Both him and his sister were in a toxic environment for a long time. Once going solo at 19 he held onto a lot of bad habits and carried a lot of anger in him, which got him a reputation for being a diva behind the stage. His music was still popular but less for the love of music and more for the manufactured pop around. He and Erik meet. Erik (if i figure out his story more ill do a similar post) Is a rock star who loves music, loves his band, and has a smaller but more passionate audience. They meet during (maybe a game show? like pop v rock? or maybe at a show where theyre both playing) and Erik recognized Ian’s issues. they get along because Erik calls out Ians shit and doesnt let him get away with everything he has been. Erik kind of realized that Ian is interested in men and steps away from the kinda-flirty relationship to let Ian get his shit together and go to therapy. They re-meet at a different time, Ian is still healing but hes doing a lot better, and they have this will-they wont-they thing for a while until they start dating privately and then go public (maybe after they get married. i think thatd be funny)

They look so fun and sweet together! I really like the backstory too! bad habits picked up from toxic environments are always really hard to get rid of, and it's not talked about enough! I'm glad he was able to find help and someone who cares for him^^

Also I love that Erik and Ian have a good relationship with each other! The way you describe it makes both of them feel mature - it’s so nice to see relationships where the people work out their problems instead of letting it get all melodramatic-
