ok, so I need some advice: is it ok to post about my au knowing another au goes under the same name?
I think I need to explain the situation very briefly: I made an undertale au back in late 2020 but never posted about it, and the idea layed dormant until maybe a few months ago, and I've been starting to work on it. Today when finalizing a ref for my au's sans I found there was another small au that shared the same name, but barely anything else in common (yknow, other than the name and the story also revolving around crystals). Would it be fair to upload the ref anyways knowing fully well someone else has taken the au name or should I try looking into changing the name? It should be fine, people come up with similar names all the time. Unless you’re just completely ripping them off it should be ok

•I don't see anything wrong with that! Titles aren't always copywrited so it's common for them to repeat, and you didn't intend to copy it in the first place so it's a-o-kay :)) The only thing i can think of is if you want to differentiate ur au from theirs, it'll help to change it just a lil bit
