I was triggered today. I have spent 2 and a half years reading and studied books and scholarly articles about tablet weaving and its history, archeological finds and studies. I have spent the past two and a half years teaching myself the craft and weaving these historical bands myself. Bands from Egypt to Finnland. I spent money on books about this subject.
MY MOTHER does a 2 minute Wikipedia search and tells me that Wikipedia doesn't mention Egyptians weaving these bands. OH! If Wikipedia doesn't say it, then it must be true! You do a two minute Wikipedia search and suddenly you are all knowing.
My bitter ass, emailed her every artical that proves my study.
This is the same generation of people who told us not to trust everything you read on Wikipedia. Wikipedia isn't written by people with ph.D's or have master degrees.
DONT FUCK WITH ME.
And don't fuck with an autistic person with a special interest.

I honestly don't understand people who claims things that they're right after looking at one article that says this and that.
I always check multiple articles, double check things and even change the questions when searching just to see if it's right or atleast some right to it.
Sometimes it takes me 1-2 month (minimum) before I finally say "okay I think this is right and not some lie"
