Blue skies
I purchased the schmincke pastel watercolor set and was really excited to use it (Im a side profile drawer when I dont know what to do). Im currently using the strathmore tan mixed media journal and its a weeee bit darker than I like. I really enjoy the tan tint of the hahnemuhle paper but I just need a larger journal so I decided to try strathmore and its not the same. So I abandoned this a few times because I tried to undark the darkness. I know using pastels on dark paper seems counterintuitive. I had to use a lot of colored pencil to brighten things up. So its a bit of a salvage. But I bought the journal so Im going to use it.Either way its watercolor some acrylicgouache/gouache and colored pencil.Dec 29, 2021
