Speaks-In-Signs
Whenever I'm unsure of what to draw on my drawing day (Sunday, usually) I draw a tiefling. This has led to the creation of the Wine Gum Tiefling Troupe; a group of tieflings (both actual PCs and otherwise) based on different colours. Speaks-in-Signs here is the 'blackcurrant' of the group.Speaks-in-Signs is a cutpurse out of necessity; having made multiple attempts to break from the thieving trade but finding no success, she steals purely to live and with little regard for profit.
Her name is quite literal; being deaf and mute, she is only able to communicate in physical sign and body language. This only contributes to her skill in burglary, however, and she is known in her regular haunts as 'the silent firefly'- oftentimes the only hallmarks of her presence being her brightly glowing eyes, shining in the dark.
Fun facts:
- With her tiefling features being somewhat lowkey compared to others, Speaks-in-Signs is often mistaken for a drow. She somehow always knows when this happens despite being deaf, and does not take kindly to it.
- Her favourite food is cheese- of any kind- and one of the hallmarks of her robberies are bite marks left in every cheese wheel in the house.
- She has a particular affinity for alley cats, and can gain intel on an area by 'asking' one.Apr 23, 2021
