I have an idea for a story and I can't decide on a longer lifespan for humans
It's not the most important thing but I need a much longer lifespan than normal. Sooo 400 or 500? or does anyone have a different suggestion?

Why not both? Like "yeah, you could be living up to 400, heard rumors of humans who lived up to 500, even, not sure how true is that but..."

•If u extend the lifespan are you going to make them look proportional to 400 years or whatever being there lifespan or keep it so that they look young only in the beginning and then get old and stay old for a long time. Like at 100 they look 25? And 200 they look 50?

•It happened to me once, i had characters that were middle aged, but when i realized they just had some decades left, i felt so sad that i extended their life span. (thats just me tho, maybe you have other reasons)
