Just so you know so we can all keep Artfol chill & fun, weโve been having a problem with a hate troll on here since November. If you suddenly receive a nasty/offensive comment or see a nasty/offensive text post, or see something about how โdwarves are great & elves suck,โ itโs very likely to be who weโve dubbed, โdwarf guy.โ
Those rude comments tend to either come from an account that may have the keywords โdwarf,โ โmountain,โ or โsupremacistโ in the username &/or a user whoโs profile picture is sometimes art of a bald bearded man (or a dwarf.)
This user has stolen other usersโ (mainly dwarf) art, told people to off themselves, promoted violence against LBGT+ folks, promoted s*xual violence against women, & has repeatedly came into peopleโs comment sections unprompted to harass & bully them. Their last 9 known accounts have all been banned for their gross behavior, their 8th & 9th known accounts were both banned today!
If you see one of their posts or they comment on a post, (either yours or someone elseโs) DO NOT INTERACT. This user is a troll, & trolls LOVE attention, & theyโve made it clear they come here for attention. Their entire goal is to upset as many people as possible & start fights. Report the user, block the account, & if they commented on one of your posts, delete the comment like nothing happened. The Devs are fully aware of this user, as their last 9 accounts have been banned, & the last 6 have been deleted in about an hour or less! The more reports an account or post gets from multiple users, the higher it goes on the devsโ list to investigate & take proper action! Apparently, they canโt ban their IP address because itโs too expensive, like, $1,000 expensive & buying a new IP address only costs like $25-$35, so itโs not exactly a worthwhile investment a small app can make!
Trolls like them may be normal on other platforms, but theyโre not normal here at all! Keep safe & congratulations on the follower milestone!
