Hmmm when I'm searching names for my ocs, I make a list of some things about the character (the age, the Era, the origin and the temperament). The age is for the "modern" aspect of the name, the Era is... Well if it's for a knight, he will not be called Jay-Z for example. The origin can help to select a list of name (American names, Chinese names, elvish names, viking names...) and finally the temperament helps to find a name which has a meaning that match the character. Anyway if you find a good one just like this, it's fine too~
