AI
I am sorry, guess, it’s already too much about AI technologies in art on every social media. But I have mixed feelings about it and want to share it with you, and also hear what you think too
I saw video on YouTube about Midjourney, check this thing, if you haven’t
I went on their server, tried out what it is, it is really amazing thing, that’s true
It’s not perfect, there is still a lot work to do, sometimes it even makes creepy stuff🐤
But I saw upgraded version, it gets better and better
I already can see people who just typed their request to the program, and then saying and posting and spreading what AI did in a way “look what I’ve made”

So what’s next?

There's more people having mixed feelings about. It's that simple. I'm only excited to try things that I could never draw. Still, I wouldn't post them. The only spot they belong to is to offtopics on forums, which in fact already exist for that generator called Dall E. I don't go too crazy about it. See you in 5 years or so
That being said they are a whole different community who use tech to make cool stuff and thats perfectly fine butttt when u try to ass ai art as actual art thats very wrong ! Handmade work should be on a different platform and ai art should be on a different platform so they wont clash
Comparing ai art to actual art is pretty dumb imo its like robots are gonna take over all the jobs of factory workers all over again. Even tho robots do take over factory assembly there are STILL HUMANS who keep an eye on them and work behind the scenes . Another analogy is that things that are mass produced are always not valued as much as "handmade" less in quanity stuff so artists dont have anything to worry about anytime soon. As you mentioned it has a lots of things to improve on and one cant achieve exactly what they are thinking for 1 to 1 using ai and in the end even the ai is actually just mixing and matching artworks and pics made by actual humans and learning using them
