Wanting to reconnect with old mutuals from my various accounts over the years vs most of them turning out to be proshippers or abandoning their accounts

NOT going to try and stalk those who obviously moved on from their past accounts because that's weird as hell and if they don't want to have their past socials connected with their current ones then that's fine!!
But I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss them. Idk how past me was able to do it but I was CRINGE and I was FREE!! And I'd talk to anybody and everybody (within reason, I'd definitely stop if I got bad vibes) and I was actually able to make friends!
But then I grew up and suddenly it got too overwhelming and I ended up abandoning those accounts and friends and idk man!! It sucks!! But life moves on and that's cool. I just wish it was as easy to make friends as it was for 10-13yo me :/
I just hope they're having fun wherever they are now. Fuck the proshippers tho
