HimI was hesiting to post this but eh screw it, I like how it turned out. For context, yesterday I watched Marcus Yu's "HIM" Minecraft horror video with friends. It was absolutely HORRIBLE in an awesome way and it reignited something in me lmao. I started this drawing while in my bed, on my phone last night with Sketchbook, and finished it properly with CSP today
I've always liked Herobrine as a creepypasta since I discovered his existence in like 2014 and I loved to play with and explore the character a lot. Eventually I made so many headcanons that I decided to turn him into an original OC back in 2020. I changed his name, redesigned him a bit and gave him a whole new backstory to make him fit into Táalhem. I always cringe a little when I'm reminded of this fact but hey, it is what it is. All of this to say that I haven't drawn Herobrine a single time since 2020, and I was curious to see what I would come up with in 2025Dec 2, 2025

I never knew about herobrine until today. I like your take on him! There are so many nice textures happening in this piece. Definitely feels eerie!
Also I've definitely done similar things with my OCs before. I can't even remember which characters they were based off of because they've changed so much, but I feel like more people do that than they care to admit xD it may not be as cringe as you feel!
