inktober day 20: friend or foe?

i actually have nothing to say here except kill my sister rn shes a monster (rook looks so fuckin derpy)

Rook emerges from Xeno’s body, Xeno collapsing, the color draining from his face. Mocha notices he has hooves.

Mocha gives Rook the sandwich with an easy smile. then grabs the Sword of Sapphire and slashes through the demon in a swift, quick movement. He silently thanks Mona and traps Rook in the mason jar, squeezing the lid on so tight he would be surprised if Mona could enchant it off.

And then Mocha waits for Xeno to awaken. He knows that it might take awhile, The Guardian said it took Donna days to regain consciousness.

But as Xeno was on The Tree of Eternal Life, Mocha was hopeful that it would take Xeno less time to recover.

And that maybe, just maybe, he would wake up and hug Mocha, remembering him.
