I made this while watching or listening to a lecture at the first lightbox expo which was all virtual. I'm really bummed that last year and this year that they aren't doing a virtual version. I'm always a bit perplexed how a lot of artists have like 0 technical know-how when it comes to the technical parts of doing things, like streaming. Like you'd think post-covid, everyone would know how to start a stream and test everything beforehand etc etc. I still love it for its value in knowledge but i really wish someone on the team were knowledgeable enough to set up livestreams. I guess there's some but not enough but it's just disappointing to me with how accessible streaming is, that people are still incapable/unwilling to do it - provided that they have a good enough internet connection to do it. I have some full confidence that the venue they're using has good internet connection. /gets off soapboxJun 13, 2023#watercolor
