@bluefalafs's post on Artfol
Who else feels terrible when you post art you're proud of, but it gets no interaction?
So tell me about a post you're proud of and I'll reshare it so it gets some love

I don't have much art on my profile atm, but I am proud of my first peice that I put on here. It's art of an undertale oc of mine, Queen Luminescence. I just love the way the lighting and background came out.

All my anatomy tutorials
they were quite many and it took me a lot of time posting all of that. The reason is, in my opinion knowledge and education sould be free and accessible to everybody, therefore I tend to share the things I learn.I hoped these tutorials could be useful to somebody, but only a bunch of them were seen for sure (= got a heart) by a small bunch of users, like two or three each.

oh absolutely, but like every single one lol
honestly it just feels my style or the stuff I like to draw isn’t the kind meant to get any at this point, especially here

•I worked really hard on my Lanterns piece, but unfortunately, it didn't receive much traction. It seems the artfol algorithm is just as difficult as insta, or more so with the flood of artisits here

•
honestly, i've kinda gotten used to it. I'm already past the stage of letting social media decide how I judge my art. though i sometimes feel insecure about it, i never let it stay in my head because i know that i've worked hard on that piece and if I like it, then that's all that matters

•Happens most of the time. Because I’m proud with most of my works. However, I enjoy drawing and satisfied with the results. Do feel upset when very few people didn’t like it. Don’t want that to stop my joy of drawing. More like expressing my mood and imagination into real life.
•
a lot of my posts tbh, i’m a huge quality>quantity sort of person. so i spend like a week on a drawing to make it my best. because of that i don’t post as often and it doesn’t reach many people. if you want a specific post though, i’m especially proud of my TOTK fan art, as well as my second recent post. i worked especially hard on both of them but they’re so overlooked

I kinda just expect I'll toss something into the wild and it won't be seen. I wish there was more interaction, but I still get joy from seeing it added to my portfolio. I even put poems on my collection descriptions

•
I don't. But then again, I don't bother posting or showing ppl to begin with bc I alrdy acknowledge it is not interesting.
•
•My (autism) imposter syndrome introduction comic. I worked like 5 hours on that.

I wouldn't say I'm proud of them, but I was really looking forward to my current villain posts getting interactions because they were specifically meant to be interacted with. Like people asking questions from "*" to get to know what kind of a character and villain he is. I thought it would be much more fun and interesting rather than just me posting artworks of them and telling everything. Instead they would share small tidbits of their backstories without much spoilers to the actual story while the people get to see their personality in person. And it's also supposed to be a little detective game because you have to find out their names based on the clues they give.
I hyped myself up to it and now I'm a bit disappointed that maybe I was the only one who thought it would be interesting.

•Well, unexpected things often happens to me. XD like you said. And the ones that I thought it was rather simple, was the one that gets the most interaction

WHAT IS ART ANYWAY

Anyway, no hard feelings. Art is just vomit from our hearts content and what makes us happy, we should carry on. XD

every damn time! it’s prolly the reason why i’m almost at the brink of a burnout. but idc. one drawing that i’m especially proud of is my recent meet the artist. the last one i made was back in like 2019 or 2020. i went all out on this one lol i wanted it to stand out from most mta’s
