I like the iPad Pro with procreate, because you can also use it as a normal iPad. It can be used for all sorts of things so it’s not limited

No screen: get a used Wacom bamboo (assuming they make the drivers for it still) honestly a great starter tablet.
With screen: I have very little experience but I have the xp pen innovator 16 (I think?) it was a holiday gift though so I don’t know what the price point is. Less than a Wacom for sure.
There’s a guy on youtube who did a video breakdown of all his favorite tablets, I’ll reply to this and link it when I find it.

•I use a Huion Kamvas 13!
It has a display screen, but isn’t a touchscreen so only the pen can interact with it, & only works when it’s plugged into a computer!
I think it cost around $200-$300 & I saved $100 by not buying it directly from Huion themselves.
