The Final RideI’ve always wanted to be good at drawing backgrounds (because there is something magical about seeing my characters in an immersive environment), so I need to practice.
I had this idea one day loosely using the painting “The unequal marriage” as the jumping off point for it, the idea of the girl before (her traveling to the marriage/to a place she doesn’t want to go to). I wanted to capture this solemn looking girl as she sat with a fate she felt trapped in. I already want to redo this because it doesn’t capture the feelings I wanted to portray, but I still had a lot of fun drawing this piece.Dec 22, 2025
