I’m struggling with it too but for now I’m starting with understanding perspective and using references of either sims houses or other drawings to understand not only how to draw in perspective but to also do furniture and nature.

I learned how two point perspectives work in an art class and went from there. Once you understand that, it's just a lot of drawing squares and boxes and then boom! You've got a building. Doing a natural bg? Draw trees, shrubs, etc within that square you blocked off. It takes a long time but you'll get the hang of it with enough practice.

You can practice by redrawing photos of places in your style, too

I'd recommend searching "simple backgrounds" it helped me for a while to learn to draw some :)
