Maybe try defining a deadline beforehand? I often go with “I’ve got to do this later so I can’t have you past x hour” or if it’s like at night, tell about a thing in the morning so can’t stay up too late

Yeah, if I for some reason had to have guests over I would hang up one of those party banners that says “Please Leave by 9” haha
