Fireflies (redraw)
AAA! In super proud of this! I present to you a redraw of an unfinished illustration I made about...mmmm, last year? I never got around to finishing it cuz Mermay had come up.
Anyways, I'm so please with this! As you can tell, a bit has changed...well...okay a LOT has changed. But composition wise, it's definitely different and more aligned with my original idea for this illustration last year. But back then I couldn't achieve it, so I am SO HAPPY that with my current skills I could accomplish what I had in mind! At the beginning I wanted Jacqueline interacting with the fireflies, but I couldn't figure out the posing, so I scrapped the idea. BUT HERE WE ARE WITH AN INTERACTIVE CHARACTER AND ENVIRONMENT.

Seeing your artwork always had a magic to them. 
There's something about the way you make an art piece that has so much life in each of them. 
This one always struck me as a moment where magic and wonder can appear and light up the darkness like fireflies.
