How do I tell one kid
That school stays closed?
The other they won't marry
Because of what the leaders chose
And others who stay exposed
Carrying, transferring, lying
Because of what they supposed
Was a wise decision?
How do I tell dad
His party is cancelled?
No quizzes or sports until
The situation is being handled?
It all feels so jumbled
Not hugging my mom
My emotions getting trampled
By a scene resembling a scandal
How do I tell myself
To still stay positive?
When the world crumbles
Making it look all negative?
I need an initiative
Maybe join a support group
Say 'Hi, my name is Steve
And I want to escape this loop'Apr 16, 2021
