Welcome to my little Pond Hello, art question:
What do you enjoy drawing more, Characters, or Backgrounds?
And what kind of tipe of character/background you like drawing?

I'm all the way for Characters and designing them, but I kind of have a Love-Hate relationship with Backgrounds
Despite being complicated for me, seeing it progress and then finished is a big joy, much more, if the background can shine by itself without a character
And the tipe, as for characters, anything really, be Robots, Anthros, Dragons, I like a big variety
As for backgrounds, starry skies and celestial objects are my passion

ngl i dont like drawing characters as much as i do poses. but backgrounds are NOT my forte

•Characters, especially character designs! But it's not like i hate backgrounds either. Adding backgrounds make my drawings more lively and vivid, and my fave kind of backgrounds to make are nature and taverns

I love drawing characters! But I do want to try doing more backgrounds, partly because they can make the character(s) look better. It gives them something to be part of.

It really depends. I like to combine both. I always spoil the same OC when I draw, so I can't just draw the same poses and feel a spark of variety that I would if I drew characters other than him. But I have like zero motivation to draw anyone else lol so putting him with other people in different environments helps
