Little Erebus rant for context on the millions of doodles ill be posting-
Erebus is the god of the afterlife in the redford universe, He rules the underworld and is simply in charge of watching over souls.
In the past he abused his powers in the mortal world which quickly angered the other gods.
Najack ( god of peace, basically leading all the gods in the table) called for a meeting once it was too much to handle, at the end most voted to banish Erebus and take away his powers.
Mortem (god of death, basically the reaper) convinced the rest to lower his sentence and since then Erebus has been locked in the underworld.
The only time he is allowed out is when the gods have meetings and he is still chained to his chair and completely unable to use his powers.
Mortem being the only one that can visit Erebus in the underworld slowly built a bond with him. Its not a secret, sometimes erebus will go sit on Mortem's lap mid meeting and pay 0 attention to whatever Najack is saying...Aug 2, 2022
