The island population has since divided themselves into Sun and Moon populations, living on opposite sides of the main island. The reason for this was because for some mysterious reason, those born to the lineages that began with Sun and Moon could not come into contact with each other. If they did, the opposing magic that remained in their bodies would violently interact, destroying them where they stood.
This doesn’t bode well for Vagneel and Athena though :( They spend a lot of time with each other, even though they know one day it must come to an end when they inherit Sun and Moon.Sep 5, 2023
