Here’s Deadfoot in my series featuring disabled warrior catsDeadfoot was one of the few cats who actually was given a chance, though he was given a disgusting ableist name when he was apprenticed he took it in stride

Deadfoot was originally named Hopkit but his name was changed to Deadpaw when he was apprenticed, due to his twisted front paw he was born with, and he later became an amazing deputy
Hawkheart, the Windclan medicine cat, was the one who gave Hopkit a chance, saying ‘If you can limp, you can walk. If you can walk, you can hunt’ which is by far one of my favourite warrior quotes
Hawkheart was one of the few cats who wasn’t ableist, too bad they didn’t have a cat like him in ThunderclanJun 23, 2021
