Transgender is someone that feels like the opposite sex but identifies as the sex they're born (a girly boy that likes girls, or a tomboy girl that likes boys)
Transexual is someone that feels like the opposite sex and identifies as the other sex, wearing different sex's clothes (crossdressing) and in some cases altering the body to match their soul/perception... (A ftm or mtf, someone born as a boy that's a girl inside, likes boys and maybe makes the body be a girl or not)
RIGHT?
Help...
I gave up trying to understand the different genders/sexualities log ago, people are what they are and yaay! I just want to know this part...

You are correcr in the old (sane person) terminology. Then you had transvestite which is someone who dresses as the opposite sex but still identifies as their birth sex.

These days "transgender" is a deus ex machina term that simply means "doesn't identify as the sex/gender they are born as". Too many people don't even require dysmorphia or dysphoria to be present to consider someone trans, and you don't have to feel male or female, you can feel like any imaginary "gender" you pull out of the ether that day. I gave up too, but I went a bit the other way and just refuse to play these gender games.
