Does anyone here know what Fiverr is?
My teacher recently recommended it to me and my classmates so we could potentially start our own freelance art gigs.

Made a Fiverr account years ago, and it was far better back then (granted I had only made plans to use it eventually, I wanted to build a portfolio first). Unfortunately it’s getting swarmed with AI bros trying to make a quick buck, and there seems to be a lot more scammers there than before. I’ve heard more success stories of freelance artists seeking out their work than having clients come to them unfortunately

To be honest maybe fiverr was better years ago. Right now it's really not great. And it'd very much a battle of the cheapest

put up some writing gigs there and all interested messages I get are scammers trying to get my email so they can phish me. You can try and maybe you do get some clients, but it's not a good freelance site anymore.
