If it has a personality and isn’t just essentially an accessory then I would consider it a yes.

It counts as what I call a secondary oc
It's an oc because you created it, but it's not a main oc, so it becomes a secondary oc, or Seco Oc for short ( I tend to call it Seco in my head 'cause in my language it's pronounced Sego and I like how that sound )

Yeah, why wouldn't it be one? It's kinda like you don't count a background character that never apperas again as a oc, so if they will appear like any other oc then why not :D

•If they play a huge part in the story and has their own characteristics, then yes. Like, Pikachu also counts as a character even tho pikachu is not human.
