Yui Ai
Our MC and probably one of the only survivors of what's coming up...Yui is one of many women who are chosen by deities to protect the world, originally... originally she would just be doing that... but after a while: the Kami all started to attack each other for dominance over the galaxy. So they implanted parts of their power within humanity and whatever new born girls would recognize her potential powers would be eligible to become a super soldier for the deity who empowered her family line.
cut to now: Yui is one, technically.. but she doesn't fit in at all with her group and her outlook is purehearted, despite the horrors she saw while protecting the temple she was drawn to.
last but not least: Yui doesn't really FEEL like she's part of the "cult" her family enrolled her into. The truth actually shines through later on...
OK: real talk, this makes like 8-9 versions of this one girl... this one was completely from my subconscious.. am I obsessed with this one!?Feb 19, 2024
