For those who do commissions:
How do you feel about changes that a client wants to be made?
For those who do logos:
How do you feel about the client select the worst logotype instead of the PERFECT and BADASS one that you have created?
My answer:
I. Never. Know. That. It. Will. Be. Exhausting.
A person from my family asked me to create a logo. So i started doing it using all the information that the person gave to me.
I was so happy with it, because... This person is my 1ST CLIENT. In years. So i decided to create the best of the best logotype with all the power and imagination that i have in my mind.
But things turned like a thunderstorm.
The person didn't like it and asked me to create another one. BASED ON ANOTHER LOGOTYPE THAT ALREADY EXISTS.
My happiness was literally destroyed a bit. I was feeling disappointed. But i decided to don't care about it, because the price that i purpose was good enough and the person will paid the value after I finish it.
I never know that it will be like this. The person choose an logotype that looks like another that already exists instead of a original and well created logo.
In 2020 i decided to enter on a website that are focused on commissions and logotype. I created more than 150 logos, but it was like losing my time. I don't even received a "NO".
I still have all the logos, but i am on a decision if I should delete them or not.Oct 4, 2021

My teachers told me to always give the client 2 options to choose from at least. And they will tell you which they prefer more.
And trying to talk the client out of copying the other logos is something they also told us to do. I have no experience yet on that tho, sounds hard.
Changes they said are handled like this 'give a limited number of changes then start charging more
