Am I the only one who can't stop adding more and more details to my drawings ? I just finished an artwork I wanted to make very simple with a simple background but I ended up spending 17h 40 min on it and I'm still not satisfied... Why am I like that

You're not alone- even though I've finished it I feel like there's something missing about it, spent time on adding unnecessary details, only to end up undo-ing all of them for digitals, or cry in regret for traditional ones ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ

This is me all the time, I’m so glad I’m not the only one.. I will think it’s finished then notice something I need to amend or add and it keeps repeating

BIG MOOOD. I spent 21h on a portrait, and now I decided to pick it up again and “finish it”.... now im 24h in it... and it’s not done yet i keep finding mistakes and things to retouch

I know that feeling too well. XD and every time I say to me „don’t do this much details to the next drawing. No one will ever see all of them.“ and what happens? Yes. More details. XD
