/INHALES okay so I have two "sets" of OCs. One set are my personal characters that I create and develop with my friends; some of them originated from RP groups or fandoms, but we enjoy exploring plots and interactions with them in different worlds.
What ties them together is that we all like to give all our OCs alternate designs for different verse or AUs. For example, I have one OC (Rosco) who's main design is a "human" (gijinka, really), but he has AU designs that include a bat, a vampire, chimera, noivern (pokemon), demon/incubus, deity... and so on for any applicable world
MEANWHILE my second set of OCs come from my personal project, Deities of Duat / "DEITIES Project." It's a visual story + character exploration featuring the Egyptian Gods, and the main story is a "what if" that follows centuries after the myth "The Contendings [of Horus and Set]," but I've been wanting to explore other side stories as well.
So as it implied, it's heavily based on Ancient Egypt's history and specifically their pantheon -- how the gods live, their abilities (like transforming into animals), and their relationships. I'm gradually exploring many of the gods designs and characters, and I have several world-building notes about DEITIES that I'm hoping to revisit and expand at some point.

Aaaaaa get ready for a ramble!!
I have four main ocs that are all in a band together, which is called M.I.N.E. (It’s an acronym of all of their names - Mary, Izzy, Nikki and Ebony). They met when they started university, abandoned their studies as they figured they all had a passion for music and wanted to work on that instead, and took the leap of faith to stardom!!
They live in a world full of parties, chaos, fame, and obviously some good tunes. I’m writing a story about them right now!! (Well, trying to, anyway lol). It’s all about their journey as a group, and I’m hoping to add in some bits of tension,,, I’m not sure yet lmao
There’s an underlying romance going on between Izzy and Nikki. Izzy is super flirty with literally everyone, which makes it really hard for Nikki to know if she should make a move or not (not that she would anyway, since she’s too shy). They both have crushes on each other, and the other members, Ebony and Mary, notice pretty quick despite them trying to keep it on the down-low.
Izzy and Nikki both worry that they’ll ruin the band dynamic if they do get together, but equally they’re tearing themselves apart because neither will confess.

I could talk abt my characters all day hhhhh
But let’s start with my main/favorite boyo, Alex. He’s a mutated human, classifed specifically as a type 2-A mutant. Following that, he has a dragon like appearance with a tail, scales, and claws, odd looking eyes, long pointy ears, and a few sharp teeth here and there. Being a type 2, he has at least 2 elemental abilities, his being the ability to manipulate fire and flora. The world he lives in is my version of Earth, and funny thing, he was orginally a httyd fan oc before I began to develop him, and loooong before he became a mutant. He still lives in a similar time period, thus he’s more fantasy-esque, and dragons do infact exist in this world. In this version of Earth, there’s a large kingdom I created called the Kingdom of Aelaris, and a majority of people who come from here are dragon slayers/hunters/trappers/etc
He knows the dragoness Sakura, who has the ability to create portals to just about anywhere across the multiverse. She created a few portal devices. He finally snapped one day and stole one of the devices, to a completley unknown world. He planned to return home shortly after, but the device malfunctioned and he was unable to. He began to explore the multiverse, being known as a ‘world-hopper’, until he was finally able to create a new device and return home.
In his home universe, there are two other life sustaining planets, the World of Dragons, and Kinethkan, which is home to pretty much your usual advanced, humanoid, alien race. The Kinethians then created a robotic race known as the A’avari, who then explore the multiverse and report back to their creators. These two planets are located in the Draco Zerah Galaxy, where unique radiation and energy can be found, granting non natives abilities (like superhero comics ig), but mutating their appearance in return. (And there’s 4 main types and 4 sub-types) This radiation is mostly found on the dragon’s planet, and across it are hotspots where you can find ‘Zarahn Jewels’, which are any natural item pulsing with the radiation/energy, and is how type 1 and 2 mutants become mutated. Zarahn Jewels are also used in Kinethian tech, giant crystals found deep within the planet are powerful enough to power their starships, and smaller ones are a neccessary component in creating A’avari cores. (Which is pretty much the robotic equivalent of a heart and a brain. Everything is stored in the Core, and it can take over any ‘robotic’ body, and said body doesn’t have to be built specifically to hold a Core. A’avari are only aware, or ‘sentient’ if they are in a body)

ok so my main storyline is set about 5k years into the future, humanity has migrated onto a new planet called Meridian after destroying earth through normal human activity (like pollution). The planet is full of this energy (im stuck between just calling it “M energy” or “Abberant energy”)
So when humans land on this planet, they find that the very next generation is born with the ability to control it because of something called “spontaneous human evolution” (which appears 1 or 2 more times later on in the story). Spontaneous human evolution caused new humans to be about a foot taller on average, and their eyes to be either yellow, blue, or red, which tells what color of energy they can control
this is already pretty long lmao so i’ll synthesize: yellow is the weakest and rarest, blue is the middle and the most common, and red is the strongest. people who are stronger are at the top of society, and the MC Silva was born with none (so he was born with gray eyes.) From where the story starts, silva is 18, has a year gap in his memories, and suddenly can control blue energy which he couldn’t do for the previous 17 years of his life, and the main plotline revolves around him trying to find out what happened, since him being born with 0 energy has never happened in Meridian history, but it’s even more rare for someone to change their level of power at all

The main character is a prince, but completely insignificant. His sister is the queen and his older brother is the commander of the guards. In this world, everyone has magical powers. The main character has a rare ability and on top of that he has to hide the fact that he has demonic blood in him His siblings show no signs of demon blood and he can't ask anyone about it. (demons are the evil ones in this world who murder without consideration and are little better than wild beasts ^^). He is often alone and is only ever accompanied by his magical animal, he has no other friends. And everyone fears him because he is a prince and because he possesses such a powerful, rare magical power.

I could talk for ever but my boy Jim here lives in the 2000s where internet is not yet fully there or relied on, where you don't have smart phones all the time in your pocket so if you don't have basic tech you're cut off. You can still hide and slip away and be forgotten. Where you're not watched and tracked all the time so crime is more prevalent. This clash between new and old tech. Where theirs still clunky old tvs. Political tensions and big time hollywood consumerism and celebrity gossip obsession. like he doesn't belong there. Very goth/emo/metal scene with horror and supernatural elements.

the first one has 3 main characters: a human (Mina), an half demon (Marengo) and a nephilim (Sachiel). the 99.9% of the times they are in Marengo’s realm which is underwater (the “dark water castle” since its in a border area between the demon lands and the area controlled by the nephilims) Marengo is a pretty chill demon, he was just really bored! and that’s why he agreed when Mina asked him to teach her Latin, lol. while Sachiel is just living up to his father’s expectations, always trying to do the right thing and that’s why he started to hang out with Marengo & Mina!

Okay so, the main villain of my story is afraid of death and has been avoiding it for centuries, he is the son of a son god and a gifted human so he has some "powers" that help him control other humans with gifts so he tries to use those powers in his favor even if that mean he would kill others in order to survive forever

I have a personal project called 'Black Marks' it's a sci fi fantasy world with a mixture of old and new, ancient and futuristic (if you've ever played HZD, that's where the inspiration is from). One of the main characters is Dinner, a selectively mute character who had a warm upbringing but it was eventually cut short do to a terrible accident that left a deep scar on the family and the world.

My boy Clement is part of a species called the Wizards of Peace (they are some sort of Guardian Angels). He has missions in the Human Realm where he helps people find hope again. Unfortunately, his system is quite unforgivable of mistakes so that will lead to some angst~ His Realm is called the Main Realm. The species has white hair and they live 330 years old. They stop aging at 30 years old.

•I have too many OCs, but one of my favorites and my comfort character is Laurent Jenkins. He's a Wizard with skills in the dark arts and a keen interest in astrology and divination. He's very shy and introverted, a kind a sensitive boy from his childhood. Spending time developing his character further during the early days of the pandemic really grounded me and he became a sort of special constant for me. (There's only a few pieces of him in my gallery. I need to upload/draw more.) What about your favorite OC?

I haven't drawn my oc much but I have one who's an unemployed bum in his thirties who does part time swimming classes for kindergarten kids. He's supposed to really pretty but he's more of a street smart than a book smart so he's terrible at most jobs except swimming because he grew up near an old, depleting lake. He moved away when a corporation came in to start redeveloping the land and the lake there. I wanna make a comic out of this but I wanna start improving my skills frist before moving forward.
