Scattering them cards.probably set just before Yuugis duel with Atemu/Yami Maybe even at the start of the Millennium Arch. Shes there cause her grandfather is an Archiologist / History Professor and shes a history nut. (Elly is pretty close to her grandparents though she dosent see them often).
So whilst visiting him on a dig, she happens to run into the group.
