so I've noticed over the last week the first social media app i use after waking up is artfol¿¡^^
I really enjoy the chill content and the kind words from everybody.
instagram lately really makes me feel whack (i don't really care that much anymore as before) but it's still kinda upsetting that i gain followers on there but at the same time loose as much engagement with every day.
what weird thing does instagram do to ur acc, mine is almost like it's shadowbanned even tho i checked that (at least i thought i did and i think I'm not)

i used to have an instagram with an extremely small following but lord god was its algorithm so draining on my motivation to post, even if i made art almost every day
on artfol i tend to post immediately, and work on art just for the platform! and i highkey love the community and the fact that its legit just a place for artists to chill,, i just used insta to browse now fjdhebdb

•Instagram makes me nervous. I can't leave notifications on for Instagram because they stress me out so much.
I also have notifications for Artfol off, but it's a lot less scary to come on here.

•I agree! it's really nice to come here and chill a bit. Also, it's so nice to ask questions and actually get answers cause on insta I sometimes feel like talking to a wall

•Yup yup. If only Artfol was fast enough, so my patience allowed for browsing hashtags, like I do on IG. It loads so much faster there that IG's still got that going for it.
