Gentle Goddess of Calm Deaths
I made this for a art show a long time ago. It was my first and last drawing on a Cintiq (RIP pricey friend) and I finished it roughtly the morning of the exhibition.Eh, in fact it was not finished, I didn't have the time.
I would like to finish it one day, even I have no time (and no more cintiq) but I would have to redraw her entirely, and I barely work in digital anymore.
The frame is messy/ugly, the background is still a sketch and I'm not satisfied with the global rendering so feel free to give me criticism and advices !
By the way, she is Hel, the sweet goddess of death in nordic mythology. She reigns over the underground kingdom of the non-warlike dead, and is a positive figure, despite her frightening appearance described in the old texts as "half gray", maybe half dead.Nov 23, 2020

Honestly, I think this is STUNNING. I actually really like the way this is rendered, it has a very traditional feel while still being digital. Sorry about your Cintiq!
