Thanatos

Personification of peaceful death. The white butterflies are symbols of the souls of the dead. He carries around an upside-down torch with dying embers, representing extinguished life. This is based on the the Roman depiction of him, but with my own flair. He usually is supposed to be a man with a beard, but death is an experience that is different for everyone so I gave him a golden mask. He may have different masks or faces. There is no one set appearance that death may take on.
