I know I said like a month ago that I would make a separate post about these "priests" that I ended up making. Honestly I just needed a name for Elina's transformation, but I ended up developing the concept a bit more

So, I'm just gonna drop now what I got so far:
Priests is the term they are commonly known all over Teyvat, now depending of the nation they get different names, and depding in the gender of th person who has the role they are either refer as priest or Priestess. When people speak directly to them they use the phrase "your grace".
Priests aren't inmortal, they are just mere humans that received great power from their archons, so they eventually die of old age and new priest must be chosen.
The archons are the ones that appoint a new priest.
The visions of the priests don't have to he of the same element as the archon they serve.
Usually the ones appointed as priests have a vision, but this doesn't mean a person without a vision can't fulfill the role.
When a person becomes a priest a symbol of the element of their archon appears in a part of their body. It's some sort of tattoo that when they are not transforms is in a dull color, but the moment they transform the mark has color and glows.
When they are transformed they get a new weapon that's stronger than any common weapon. Also, the power of their vision/element (if the person has one) is greatly enhaced. They can get some extra power from external sources like their archon. (or the four winds and the Adepti.
Nowadays there aren't as many priests in Teyvat since the archons stopped appointing new ones. Inazuma, Liyue and Mondstadt are the only ones that are known to have a priest in the present day.Oct 21, 2021
