Elf mother (work in progress)

This is a work in progress but... I'm not sure the background would be good so... I think it's time to show you this watercolor

I'm a beginer at watercolor, so i'm trying some new things, to find my style... I'm not used to make an ink line, but I think it's good like this ? What do you think ?
Did you got some advices or tips to paint grass ?
(I take any advices about watercolor painting too
