Probably one of the best drawings I've done so far orz
It's from months ago and still can stop staring at it from time to time.

;; A bit of lore behind this drawing:

The Shadow curse may not have instant deadly effects on people but in the long run the consequences of having this curse is worse than death itself for the majority of victims. The constant pains and nightmares can end not only with the physical health but also mental stability of anyone.

This curse takes advantage of their victims negative emotions to slowly take absolute control of their bodies.

In the case of Val the two emotions that cause her to worsen her state are anger and loneliness.
When she loses control over herself the black marks of her arms start to grow black veins/crack all over her arms till her head (as in the drawing).
After she calms herself she is very weak and on very poor physical condition to the point where she could end up passing out.

Despite having some problems managing her emotions (because of the curse) Val has only lost control a couple of times.Mar 12, 2023

This is such a beautiful picture! The fire is amazing since it's the perfect amount of brightness and you can literally see its "movement" as she'd shoot it from her arm/hand. You can tell she's very powerful and strong. I just love it. Definitely worth a follow
