My notes app and partially discord. Make threads and seperate channels of certain topics to keep them organized, its neat
Google docs 💙
I have a discord server to pin a bunch of important stuff among the random stuff, then I look through them and compile them
I just right dot points of lore that I think of in notes on my phone😅😂😂
I have lord notebooks or notes in my phone😂
i have a txt document (or many spread about) on my desktop with many an incoherent rambling that id call 'lore'
I’ve been keeping a journal for all my ideas for characters and the world since…September 17, 2019
Nah, I just MEMORIZE IT.
Google doc. My Google doc currently has almost 30 pages full of new and old lore.
Uhh. It's a little different for each of the loves. I have three different stories and worlds (all unconnected). One of them a lot of the info is written on post it notes on my wall. Another story is written partially in a notebook that's dedicated to that story. All three stories also have random notes scribbled in my sketchbooks and longggg notes in the notes app of my phone
Trello. I have a board for characters, a board for places, a board for objects, and a board for concepts (magic system, etc.) Each board has an inbox list for jotting down quick ideas, then lists for each 'type' of thing (rivers vs cities in 'places', character lists are divided by location), and of course there are lots of links between cards.
Timeline w/ the basic need to know information, character list w/ a ref and/or information on them, the main written story / summary and the sideline of ideas that might come to mind. And google docs helps
I just write down whatever comes to my mind as it happens, so none of it is in chronological order or anything. I also have to remember to cross out old information that contradicts the new stuff I write
It's all in my head, and has been... for too long, sometimes I wish I could forget it but I can't. It's all right there, watching me, begging me to put it to paper... >->
