i must admit i am very unhappy with the way i color. i usually leave all my pieces as sketches, so coloring and shading is very distant to me. but i will keep working on myself and my style, until i am happy. i can't back down.this is a piece i did for a dtiys on ig, but why not post it here aswell.Feb 20, 2021

Very lovely drawing! I would recommand to use some different shades for the shadows. Shadows are usually not just a darker shade of the original colous, but often contain different colours eg. grey, blue, violet (depending on the lightsource). Also it would bring more depht to the artwork, if you would make your shadows a bit more darker and contrasting and also using some "hard" shadows really helps out! ^w^

•It's gorgeous
(for the critique, I think the left hand need to be more in the inside, less seeing her. I mean her left hand, not from our perspective)

•Im with you on this coloring journey. For this ,more contrast on what's dark and what's a highlight . you don't necessarily need to airbrush shadows in. The wand tool with the gradient brush can help create depth. Overall ur oc is really cool
