i had to rip off the tag off my jeans cause it was scratching my back and I was my American size is 4????
actually I heard it varies brand to brand I'm curious if it'll vary on my jeans cause everything I have is European size 36
oh i can't check because most of the things I own don't have that tag and the ones that do are the same brand

Probably to make Americans feel better about being overweight because the numbers are smaller (coming from an American lol)
