Velociraptor
Velociraptors roamed the Earth about 85.8 million to 70.6 million years ago. Even though it had feathers its arms were too short to fly or glide. It is believed to have used it's feathers to attract a mate, cool down, protect eggs from the environment around it, and used them to generate thrust and speed while running up inclines.
