Haha anyway here are some of my thoughts as I was reading:
- for some reason I thought unicorns in this universe were just humanoid instead of horse Devon transforming into a boy?? (whenever visander was like "remember when I used to ride you
" "do you let the Lion ride you" UM...)
- speaking of visander he annoyed me so much at first but I'll admit he grew on me lol (also visander x phillip is so random lmao. Too insta-lovey imo but I just know visander is gonna angst so much about it)
- cyprian pov!! I like him so much more in this book, dude cannot catch a BREAK
- whys Phillip kinda silly actually
("Phillip's jacket!" ICONIC)
- I feel like Elizabeth's pov was written so well, people mess up child povs a lot by making them sound too old/young, but Elizabeth's is just perfect THAT is definitely a ten year old (why'd she actually make me feel SO bad about Katherine)
- I hate ettore so much omg I hope he doesn't survive that gunshot
- reading the ending CYPRIAN NOO!! JAMES NOO!! WILL NO!!
- why tf did Grace bring the cup along
- I almost forgot to mention Violet again lmao but she was ok ig? I didn't like her any more or less than the first book she was just kinda normal for me. It's nice that Tom doesn't know about the whole killing her thing and actually cares about her, now she just needs to get him to join her side (but I think probably gonna end up fighting
)
