Thought it was cool at first, but then every ai art generator I saw also supported nfts so I heavily dislike them. And the people who claim to be "ai artists" when they don't create anything themselves at all. Some even sell those as commissions

I think it could be a useful tool to help generate new, unformed ideas and use for reference in an attempt to improve someone's art (if that person wanted their art to have a similar style), just a bit sad that some people misuse it. I guess that could be said about just about any invention though

•A great art assistant tool for artists (: I don't have any worries or qualms about it in an isolated since.
But of course i have to acknowledge there will be techbros and novices who don't understand general art etiquette (like crediting) hence the whole 'plagiarism' thing. However, as it become more set in stone over the years, we will have a general understanding how to incorporate/adapt it efficiently like every new technology.
And for the jobs argument, that's corporatism for ya. Can't really change them unless ya change the overall system.
The tool is still very primitive in the making but I'm fascinated to see what in store for the future. This is still a new concept and there a lot of variables that needs to be checked. So i wish for the best in this new iterations of art and what we as artists can do to improve it.
So, those who are worry that this might be the 'end of art' , it's not, we humans will still create cause we like being busy, we create just because.

Good for inspiration! Once you start looking closer though it does look kinda bad and just wrong in some cases.

No issues with it.
It's just a cool tool you can use like with everything else.
Unfortunately, I just may not know how to use it because my results often end up ugly.

•I think using it correctly could greatly improve your art and workflow but they need to work on checking copyright violations like using an artist as a prompt word. Generating in essence a ‘new’ piece from that artists without the artists consent.
This is coming from someone in the game/animation industry so having a fast workflow is greatly appreciated

It's absolutely amazing. But I dislike ppl who post it and doesn't even mention it's not drawn by themselves. For me is art smth special or adorable cause you need to train a still and put much work into it and that's why ai art will never be that special.

They’re copyright violations & ultimately cannot create new images like people can.
