Mermay #2 - Plumeria

I’ll try and redo do my W.I.T.C.H. mermaids for next Mermay. In the meantime, I did one of my CS Mermaids, my Maeriposa, Plumeria.

“The Maeriposa is an endangered clan of mermaids who have the ability to weave soulmate bonds, similar to the red string of fate of Asian legends. It was because of this unique ability that they were hunted to near extinction. Luckily, the Maeriposa were able to find sanctuary within the Realm of Seraphyx and they now aid the Seraphym with finding soulmate pairs”

The Realm of Seraphyx is a world created by @Silverangel907 on DA that houses her CS and her primary species are the Seraphym; basically specialized Angels.

Plumeria has the special traits of double winged fins and long butterfly-lace fins, both rare traits, so she’s a RARE mermaid (). Plumeria takes her bonds seriously, believing that bonds are something that shouldn’t be taken lightly seeing as how they can be eternal; that being said, all other times, she is almost an air-head and floaty.

I actually work faster traditionally and it feels more fun. I DO however, want to get more into digital cuz it’s is indeed easier to be indecisive about things without restarting everything ()
